This site was born on July 24, 2017, two days after my first experience with Delta-8 THC.
In the wee hours of a late night soiree under the redwood trees, I yearned for something calming and tranquilizing. Fortunately, I was speaking with two important leaders in the cannabis industry. One kindly said, "want some D8, some Delta 8?". "D8?", I quizzically responded. He told me that it was very calming for him and is good for taking the edge off, for relaxation, and that it would feel soothing.
I tried it and he was correct - I felt a loving peace of mind, my breath and body centered, all in balance with the ground, and the starry sky above. My sense of wellness was more clear to me. I felt mellow and full of good spirit and connection to the many aspects of the crisp dark Northern California night sky.
FF to 2022. This molecule is poised to have much greater reach than I ever imagined possible, and I feel honored to be able to play a role in it here. The relatively recent discovery of taking a number of different molecules that are easily grown in a cannabis/hemp plant, whether they are Delta 9 THCA, Delta 9 THC, CBDA, CBD, or others, and then performing a conversion of their oil to a Delta 8 THC distillate, is a practice that has become widespread, and with that, rookies making rookie mistakes, and of course bad apples spoiling the bunches.
